<p>A new report is highlighting how living conditions for the people of Gaza are getting even worse.</p>
<p>The Gaza based Institute for Development Studies in Palestine says more than 80 per cent of Gazans now live below the poverty line.</p>
<p>Almost all businesses in the strip are going bankrupt because of Israel's ban on goods getting in or out.</p>
<p>None of the border crossings into Egypt or Israel have been fully open for more than a year.</p>

<p>A UN official in Mogadishu says Somalia now constitutes the worst humanitarian crisis in Africa - worse than Darfur.</p>
<p>An estimated 173,000 people have fled fighting in Mogadishu in just the past two weeks alone, bringing the total number of displaced people in the country to 850,000.</p>
<p>Not only are refugees overwhelming areas outside Mogadishu, wounded civilians are flooding local hospitals.</p>
