Warren served in the US military for eight years and returned with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. He turned to crime and after serving six months jail time, immigration refused to release him because he was not a U.S citizen. He sat in detention for almost three years and was just released. Many may ask us, &quot;Why don&#39;t you go back and apply the legal way?&quot; This presupposes that the laws are there to help students like ourselves who were brought into the country through no fault of our own. Actually, as pointed out before, USCIS is not perfect, nor is its laws even close to godhood. Many people fall through the cracks--the system needs to be amended.</p><p>Many of us did not know that once we turned 18 and overstayed more than three months, the ten year ban applies to us. This means that if we were to apply &#39;the legal way,&#39; we would be banned from entering the country for ten years. There is no way to overcome the ban. What would you do?</p><p>If you think this is just, then you might as well go ahead and believe everything Leviticus says, including that quote above. Or you can look at this one and decipher for yourself what is the best thing to do in our situation:</p><p><em><strong>Leviticus 19:33</strong></em>&nbsp; <em>And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him.
