He is researching the nature of political Islam and downloaded an Al Qaeda manual from the US department of Justice web-site as part of his research. He emailed the manual to a friend, Hicham Yezza, asking him to print it off on his behalf. This was reported to the police. His friend is now being deported to Algeria as a result.
