From The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan's speech: "Come Out of Her My People." That call coming from Jehovah(God)through His servants Musa (Moses)and Aaron as a sign 2,000 years ago for the Black man and woman today. Allah (God) is now making that call literal through his servants, The Honorable Elijah Muhammad and Minister Louis Farrakhan to the Black man and woman of Amerikkka.

This clip shows Nottingham University Ph.D research student, Rizwaan Sabir, talking about his brief arrest by the police as a suspected "terrorist". He is researching the nature of political Islam and downloaded an Al Qaeda manual from the US department of Justice web-site as part of his research. He emailed the manual to a friend, Hicham Yezza, asking him to print it off on his behalf. This was reported to the police. His friend is now being deported to Algeria as a result. In this clip, he explains what happened during this absurd example of Islamophobia.

A new film from Big Noise.

In a small town in Louisiana, six families are fighting for their sons' lives.

Two nooses are left as a warning to black students trying to integrate their playground, fights break out across town, a white man pulls a shotgun on black students, someone burns down most of the school, the DA puts six black students on trial for attempted murder, and the quiet town of Jena becomes the site of the largest civil rights demonstration in the South since the 1960s.

The Jena 6 is the story of hidden racial inequality and violence becoming visible. It is a powerful symbol for, and example of, how racial justice works in America -- where the lynching noose has been replaced by the DA's pen.

Once upon a time, on August 10, the CBS Early Show came to Kansas City, Missouri. And what a show it was to be!

When the local peace community heard that the Early Show was coming to the park, activists hoped to get their message to a national audience.

And so all the banner-carriers in the village gathered, all a-dither at their one big chance to be visible to the entire land!

“We started assembling the banners in the park,” Harritt says, “and immediately, a CBS staff person said, ‘You can’t be here. You can’t have those here.’ ”

The townspeople who believed in freedom of speech were angry! They wailed,

“This is a public park. We have a right to be here!" ... And the anti-war activists had a lawyer with them who defended their right to be there.

What could they do? The peace community, being the wise men and women they were, had no choice but to be flexible.
(Will there be a happy ending? Turn the page!)

If you get sentenced to 22 years for a schoolyard fight by a jury of your peers consisting on no one that looks like you, it is obvious that something or someone is out to get you for some reason. What therefore must be made equally obvious is that there are people that are out to help you as well.

The Jena 6 need your help. Please take a look at the petition at www.petitiononline.com/aZ51CqmR/petition.html.

With today being the tragic anniversary of the greatest natural disaster ever to hit the United States, it is tragic that Katrina's racial undertones and implications would be followed by more racially deplorable happenings in the state of Louisiana.

From aclu.org/brokenpromises: Katherine Mattes is the Deputy Director of the Tulane Law School Criminal Clinic. When the hurricane hit, the New Orleans police department's subterranean evidence room flooded, destroying crucial and critical evidence that would have been used at criminal trials. Government neglect of New Orleans' infrastructure led to the destructive flooding after Hurricane Katrina hit, and bureaucrats' mishandling of the aftermath led to widespread violations of human and civil rights. The ACLU has released video interviews and a new report, Broken Promises: Two Years After Katrina, detailing the abuses prisoners suffered in the wake of the hurricane.
