Thanks for viewing and post your comments at the bottom. As always, take a stand against corporate owned media. Turn the television, radio and internet smear machines off. Check your facts, and make good arguments and ignore what the opposition tells you! If you have a voice out there, let it be heard. I do it and I am fine!

Former North Carolina Senator John Edwards, a former Democratic presidential candidate and helmed favored choice for vice president for presumptive nominee Illinois Democrat Senator Barack Obama, has been caught up in affair. Even in the big cities, a little affair in the motor city has now jailed "Hip-Hop" Democratic mayor Kwame Kilpatrick.

Add on New York Republican Congressman Vito Fossella, and his misforutne. Also last year's jokes Republican Idaho and Louisiana senators Larry Craig and David Vitter.

Who could forget about the "Slick Willie"! The former President Bill Clinton. John and Bobby Kennedy were known to have cheated. I can see Jay Leno getting all his jokes prepared for these "cheaters".

Even former presidential candidates like Rudy Giuliani, Fred Thompson and presumptive Republican nominee Arizona Senator John McCain has cheated.

Oh, I forgot about New York governor Eliot Spitzer and his replacement David Paterson. They cheated.

And let us not forget the "Reverends" Jesse Jackson and Ted Haggert.

Even spies cheat, former FBI agent Robert Hansen was going to strip clubs and had mistresses.

Who's looking out for you, Bill O'Reilly! We know about Andrea Mackris! Don't say you haven't called her about a one night loofah!

No offense, but cheating is wrong. Picture this if this was on a television show or an internet blog! If Joey Greco and Brian Bates (The Video Vigilante of Oklahoma City) were out here they would have caught these "johns" and "cheaters". Cause they do their jobs of catching men who cheat on their wives and girlfriends.

And yes, this is a personal matter. The families are the ones who suffer the most.

I guess the news media was taking their time. So that leads me to conclude it was "liberal bias".
The National Enquirer, Fox News and the Huffington Post broke the story. The Drudge Report picked on it afterwards. The rest of the news media were in slow mode while these networks were on it.

This is quite a first, I give Fox News credit for something. Now I know I must be crazy.

John Ervin, the writer, director and producer of "Catfight" invited me to a dress rehearsal at a Methodist church in Prospect Park on Monday. Outside the weather was hot and muggy, but the heat in the windowless room on the top floor of the church was stifling, a grim reminder that actors (and videographers) must suffer for their art.

The cast includes Republicans and Democrats, including one actor who phone-banks and delivers lawn-signs for the Bachmann campaign. "Catfight" doesn't spare liberals or conservatives.

Larry Craig: Don't Jerk Us Around by the Gas Nozzle

Yes, you heard that right! In speaking about energy independence on the Senate floor, Sen. Larry Craig (R-ID) said that America needs to start producing oil once again so that foreign countries won't "jerk us around by the gas nozzle."

Now, I'm no expert on energy independence, but I would think that Bush, McCain, and the rest of the Republicans pushing for offshore drilling wouldn't want Craig and his scandalous past to come anywhere near a campaign with soundbytes like this that could be misconstrued as innuendo. But that's just me.

What's also funny about this clip is that Craig somehow thinks that offshore drilling will suddenly fix our economy and national security, as well as allay the xenephobic fears that he and his cronies have been implanting for years. Oil, the magical cure-all. Gas nozzle!

Rep. Abercrombie gets Craiged

Amusing. By the way, I'm out the door to the store, so make sure I have at least one R indicted by the time I get back. And no, Spitzer doesn't count.

While reporters were hovering outside a Capitol Hill conclave of the Michigan and Florida delegations last Wednesday night, Rep. Neil Abercrombie (D-Hawaii) just happened to come by to use the restroom, which he did.
But when he emerged, flashing lights surprised him as several cameramen pointed their lenses at Abercrombie. They had been given instructions to shoot any live bodies they could see.
Being from Hawaii, Abercrombie doesn't have a dog in the Michigan-Florida delegation fight, but there he was, caught in the glare of the cameras like the proverbial deer in the headlights.
Momentarily stunned by the three cameras staring him in the face, Abercrombie decided to have a little Aloha State fun when he looked back toward the restroom and shouted:
"Come on, Larry, it's all over!"
To be clear, there was no one else in the restroom at the time, including Sen. Larry Craig (R-Idaho) - the obvious Larry in question.

Spitzer Is To Clinton As Vitter Is To McCain

Mark at News Corpse has an interesting take on the Spitzer situation, politcally speaking:

New York governor Eliot Spitzer has blown it in a big way. [...] [W]hen a personal act is both illegal and hypocritical, it becomes a hurdle that is very difficult to get over.
That said, the media is demonstrating its customary tunnel-blindness in reporting this story. The news is less than two hours old and I have already heard reporters on CNN, Fox and MSNBC asking about the impact on Hillary Clinton’s campaign.
Why would this have any impact on Hillary Clinton’s campaign? It is unrelated to policy matters. It is not something she could have known. There is no connection to her whatsoever other than the fact that Spitzer had endorsed her.
Well, I haven’t heard anyone ask John McCain about whether he has the support of Sen. Larry “Wide Stance” Craig (R-ID). And Sen. David Vitter (R-LA), an admitted patron of Washington’s DC Madam, endorsed McCain just yesterday. Neither Craig nor Vitter have resigned their seats in the Senate.
I also have to wonder if Dick Morris, a frequent guest on Bill O’Reilly’s program, and the subject of his own prostitution scandal, will appear on the Factor tonight to discuss the Spitzer affair. While he obviously would have no moral authority to criticize Spitzer, he could at least speak from experience. Knowing Morris and O’Reilly, they would probably not even bother to disclose it.
Here’s your homework for today: Anyone who reads or hears a reporter ask Clinton about Spitzer should demand that they also ask McCain about Vitter.

I just got home and hadn't heard the Clinton angle. Mark's right, it couldn't be more obtuse.

Icky endorsements: The land-scammer, the foot-tapper, and the sinner

Is it worth getting an endorsement when it comes from one of these sleazebags?

Today Republican Congressman Rick Renzi of Arizona was indicted on charges of extortion, wire fraud, money laundering and other matters in an Arizona land swap scam. Renzi is also one of the Arizona state co-chairs for Sen. John McCain’s presidential campaign.

Next up: The Willard Romney Endorser:

Republican Senator Larry Craig was a big-time backer of former Gov. Mitt Romney, before being accused of soliciting sex in a Minnesota men’s bathroom.

Oh, and how can we forget the Vitter For Giuliani campaign?

And Senator David Vitter was a big part of Team Giuliani, before his name turned up in the blackbook of "D.C. Madam" Deborah Jeane Palfrey's. Vitter was forced to apologize for "a very serious sin in my past." (By that he mean soliciting prostitutes, not backing Giuliani.)

Oh, but it doesn't just stop at accepting an endorsement. What do the candidates do when they discover their groupies' indiscretions?

But how they handle their relationship when the chips are down is a bit revealing. Today, McCain expressed more concern than anger when he learned of the Renzi indictment. [...] "I’m sorry obviously, you always feel for the family as you know he has 12 children. But I don’t know enough of the details or anything to make a judgment, this kind of thing is always, is always very unfortunate. I rely on our department of justice and our system of justice to make the right outcome.”

Larry "I Love My Wife" Craig was none too happy when Willard reacted to his foot-tapping:

Mitt Romney on the other hand chose the nuclear option when dealing with the Larry Craig matter. He called Craig’s reported actions, “disgusting.”

However:

He is still a Senator, and Mitt Romney is no longer a presidential candidate.

Ooooh, snap! That nasty, naughty boy got the last laugh.

In Idaho Sen. Larry Craig’s continuing court fight to withdraw his guilty plea in an airport restroom-sex sting in Minnesota, a new motion has been filed today by the prosecution. It’s a “motion for enlarged brief,” which in this case means the respondents want to file a brief to the Minnesota Court of Appeals exceeding the current length limit of 15,500 words.

I hope this case doesn't result in a hung jury.

Sources have revealed that the fittingly macho-named Major Garrett is tied romantically with the disgraced “non-gay” senator from Idaho, Larry Craig. While there has been no confirmation at this time, the sourcing is “strong, very strong.” Garrett is the reporter who covered the Craig affair for Fox News. And while the photo [above] may not be considered conclusive evidence, it raises the temperature of the scandal significantly.

This revelation comes on the heels of the New Hampshire primary where Garrett reported with titillating excitement that Hillary Clinton’s campaign was floundering and that a staff shake-up was imminent.

In the end, it is not possible to provide skin-tight confirmation of Garrett’s dalliance with Craig. Though the evidence at this time is somewhat less than circumstantial, I have confidence in the faithfulness of my sources. But should this flare into a climax of reportorial passion, I vow to treat Garrett with uninhibited fairness. When I receive his call denying that there is any truth to the scandalous allegations herein, I will gladly take it under advisement.

Larry Craig got busted for using 30-year-old cruising code in an airport restroom - though the best part was watching TV anchors freakishly "re-enact" the scene, most notably with a woman holding a literal wall of figurative heterosexuality between the ABC-TV pundits caught in the homoerotic headlights like desperate het deer. The Republican Craig survived allegations about coke and young male pages in 1982; he called Bill Clinton, "a nasty, bad, naughty boy," he is anti-gay marriage, won't back gay hate crime bills and the LGBT Human Rights Campaign gave him a rating of zero. Republican Sen. David Vitter loves the ladies (especially when he pays them to do, um, things), he loves abstinence education almost more than the statute of limitations, and hates same-sex unions so much he compares them to Hurricane Katrina. Still a popular meme this year: Former preacher Ted Haggard, um, really wanted to help homos find the light (or fountain) of his own personal Jesus so much he actually visited gay bars to do outreach. Then in fall 2006, like the others in this year's sexual hypocrisy shortlist, got waaay caught. All of which proves that the fine men in assless chaps at Folsom have nothing on these high-placed anti-sex pundits who clearly have the art of tease-and-denial down. We really have a lot to learn here in San Francisco from these very sophisticated, if sloppy, pervs.

Republican Party Values 2

This is a sequel to a video I edited four months ago entitled "Republican Party Values", which cataloged some (not nearly all) of the criminal offenses of the Republican Party leadership since George W. Bush was selected president in 2001. For this project I decided to focus more on the Republican Party claim that they alone exemplify American morality and "family values" by putting together a short montage of some of their sexual indiscretions since the partisan witch hunt against President Clinton in 1998, as well as a few notable exceptions outside that time frame.

Ultimately this is not a story about sex, but about hypocrisy. It is a story about a modern Republican Party obsessed with capitalizing on bigotry and human frailty to score cheap political points for lack of any positive political platform while they themselves engage in the behavior they're so quick to demonize.
