He is a provocative commentator and a leading authority on domestic issues such as education choice, drug legalization, the growth of government, and the rise of libertarianism. He is the author of Libertarianism: A Primer, described by the Los Angeles Times as "a well-researched manifesto of libertarian ideas," the editor of The Libertarian Reader, and coeditor of the Cato Handbook on Policy. </p> <p>Boaz is the former editor of New Guard magazine and was executive director of the Council for a Competitive Economy prior to joining Cato in 1981. His articles have been published in the Wall Street Journal, the New York Times, the Washington Post, the Los Angeles Times, National Review, and Slate. I was looking for peace. And there's nothing more peaceful than weed. Just ask the Native Americans. They passed around the pipe to stop war. </p> <p>So I ate everything looking for "peace". I wonder if all Libertarian candidates enjoy the peace weed? Can you imagine Bob Barr smoking from the peace pipe? Or Mike Gravel? Or Lady Liberty? Think about it. It was liberating compared to some of the other political parties I've been too. Everyone was excited to talk to me. So much so that I spoke with almost every Libertarian Presidential Candidate directly, including the official Libertarian Presidential candidate, Bob Barr, his running mate, Wayne Allyn Root, and the Democratic turned Libertarian candidate, Mike Gravel. </p> <p>I learned firsthand that Libertarians stand for anything to do with personal freedom and less government. It's like they want to elect themselves out of a job eventually, and live a free and prosperous life. What's not to like about Libertarians? They love peace, drugs and rock 'n roll, which of course makes them the best party to go to.</p> <p>Note to self: Become a Libertarian, to say and do whatever you want. I poured drinks for freedom, met Presidential elect Bob Barr, and hung with some of this nation's forefathers like Thomas Jefferson and John Adams. I can't believe it! </p> <p>I actually spent most of my evening with Hillary Clinton. A lot of people don't know the real Hillary. But I do. She even sent me a personal email with a secret -- She plans to concede this Saturday. I know that she'll always keep what's best for this nation in mind. And the woman can dance! She's smokin'. </p> <p>Note to self: If your party sucks, go to another. Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Peace and Freedom.
