On the 2nd day of the RNC, the Poor Person's March began with arrests, at the Ripple Effect Music Festival in front of the Capital Rage Against the Machine was threatened with arrest if they took the stage, the two events collided, combined, and ended with a peaceful demonstrators delivering a Citizen's Arrest warrant through the fence of the barricade's surrounding the RNC, and, after that, tear gas and concussion grenades. I am proud of Senator Hillary Clinton. I made the opportunity to see her twice when she came to Dayton, Ohio. Chelsea Clinton and former president Bill Clinton also came to Dayton.

I have a feeling she would be nominated for SCOTUS if Senator Barack Obama would become president. She graciously loves her supporters, and Senator Barack Obama will now have to pay the favor. It's not just giving Senator Clinton and former president Bill Clinton, air time. Work on making sure that women do count.

Jerome Corsi a Cockroach for the GOP Smear Machine

By Eugene Robinson OBAMA FACES THE SMEAR MACHINE Par for Mr. Corsi The "author," and I use the term loosely, whose vicious lies damaged John Kerry's 2004 presidential campaign has crawled back out from under his rock to spew vicious lies about Barack Obama. Right-wing radio talk-show hosts are dutifully transmitting this concocted venom. This presidential campaign has officially gotten ugly. The "author" I'm talking about is a man named Jerome Corsi. In a book published last year, "The Late Great USA: The Coming Merger with Mexico and Canada," Corsi claimed that George W. Bush was at the heart of a secret conspiracy to subsume the United States into a post-national, one-worldish North American Union. Corsi's writings on far-right blogs have been even more paranoid and delusional. He has written that pedophilia, for which he used a more graphic term, "is OK with the Pope as long as it isn't reported by the liberal press." He has referred to Muslims as "ragheads." Corsi would be known as just another visitor from the outer fringe if he had not been the co-author of "Unfit for Command," the book that slimed Kerry's exemplary record as a Swift boat commander in Vietnam. The allegations in that book were discredited, but not before they had been amplified by the right-wing echo chamber to the point where they raised questions in some voters' minds -- perhaps enough to swing the election. It was an abominable trick, but quite remarkable. Kerry's opponent, George W. Bush, had avoided Vietnam by taking refuge in the Texas Air National Guard. Kerry was a decorated war hero, yet somehow his valor and sense of duty were turned into a political negative and used against him. Now Corsi, in what he acknowledges is an attempt "to keep Obama from getting elected," has come out with a book that similarly tries to turn one of Obama's strengths -- his compelling life story -- into a liability. Corsi's new volume of vitriol, "The Obama Nation," seeks to smear Obama as a "leftist" and add fuel to the false and discredited rumor that he is secretly a radical Muslim, or at least has "extensive connections to Islam." The liberal Web site Media Matters has already demonstrated that the book is riddled with factual errors -- for example, Corsi repeats the charge, thoroughly disproved, that Obama was in church for one of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright's most incendiary sermons. But the point isn't to tell the truth. The point is to repeat the lie and thus give it new life. Corsi's dirty work is more difficult this time because Obama has already written his life story in the autobiographical "Dreams From My Father." Since he can't reveal anything about Obama's past, Corsi is reduced to reinterpretation -- or, at times, invention. It sounds like the kind of book that should quickly be consigned to the remainder bin, but -- unsurprisingly -- it is already a bestseller. The Post and other news organizations have noted that this and similar anti-Obama books win the imprimatur of best-seller status by being "pushed by conservative book clubs that buy in bulk to drive up sales." This time, though, somebody is pushing back: John Kerry, whose political action committee has launched a new Web site, called Truth Fights Back, to "fight against the right-wing smear machine." The site weighs in vigorously on behalf of several Democrats who are being hit with unfair attacks, but its most urgent campaign is "making sure Jerome Corsi doesn't get away with his lies unchallenged." The Obama campaign faces a classic dilemma. If smear attacks are left unanswered, voters can get the impression that the lies are true. But there's no way to respond without giving the falsehoods wider circulation. For Obama, this choice seems doubly fraught. Just look at the way John McCain's campaign jumped all over Obama when he predicted -- correctly, it turns out -- that Republicans would try to scare voters by making him seem alien and somehow frightening. His observation about not looking like previous presidents was opportunistically slammed by McCain and his surrogates as playing "the race card." Yesterday, the Obama campaign released a lengthy rebuttal of Corsi's book. The vacationining candidate himself remained silent, leaving it to others, such as Kerry, to give a more full-throated response. Hannity & Colmes - The O'Reilly Factor: Obama Bashing!

This will be the final mention of Fox News and its commentators Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity. After this video, I will no longer refer to them by name, other than calling them "conservative critics" or "conservative pundits". That also includes talk radio pundits, internet bloggers and newspaper/magazine columnist. No more mentions of Rush Limbaugh, Michael Savage or Ann Coulter. From now on, anytime I post a video derailing against that network or these controversial pundits, they will be called "conservative critics". And when Senator Barack Obama mentions either name or that network, I will donate a portion to the Obama campaign. Thanks for viewing and post comments at the bottom. Take a stand against the corporate owned media and turn that television, radio and the internet smear machine off. I guess in order to get attention; I guess you keep doing what you do in order to get the Illinois senator's attention. That's Sean Hannity, Alan Colmes, Bill O'Reilly and Greta Van Susteren's plan! Attack, attack, attack! They are so desperate to bring Democratic Senator Barack Obama on, Hannity called out the senator to appear on his shows. Bill O'Reilly shoved a man working with Obama, and even called upon an unscientific poll to urge the senator to come on his show. Fox News is strident to say at least. The senator and his campaign have a frosty relationship with the network, and getting the senator to at least appear on prime time programming will prove very difficult. With Obama's heavy scheduling, and constant attacks from Fox News, it's basically going to be a: "I'll scratch your back, if you scratch mine" moment! In order to generate huge ratings and of course, bragging rights: They want the most popular candidate in the 2008 Presidential Election. Sean Hannity and Alan Colmes, the time will come when the viewers will change the channel and ratings will go down. Bill O'Reilly, you may be the top of cable news, but sooner or later, you will screw up and the fan base will turn their back on you! Trust me; an ego can quickly be deflated. And with that said, I see that Neil Cavuto is already marching to the tune of hang the John Edwards affair over Barack Obama's neck. This is what a "business program" such as "Your World" is. I bet you, there are more liberal viewers and African Americans watching the programs now! My main two reasons for all the disgust towards Fox News is: Hannity's obsession with Senator Barack Obama (and Jeremiah Wright), and the attacks on the African American community by not only O'Reilly, Hannity and Colmes, but other pundits and critics of the African American community. [Progressive and civil right groups] are practically waiting for O'Reilly to slip up in some controversial quote! They are begging for Hannity to continue to say something about Obama in a negative tone. Cause people are waiting for the simple slip of the tongue coming out of Bill O'Reilly, John Gibson, Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade, Gretchen Carlson, Bill Hemmer, Megyn Kelly, Martha McCallum, Carl Cameroon, E.D. Hill, Laura Ingraham, Sean Hannity, Alan Colmes, Newt Gingrich, Karl Rove, Dick Morris, Geraldine Ferraro, Jesse Lee Peterson, Juan Williams, Michelle Malkin, Ann Coulter and John Kasich. They are waiting for something so controversial; they will rally up and boycott the corporate owned sponsors! The viewers will urge corporations to drop their support, have the commentator or network reprimanded, and/or terminate the commentator. I am not going to allow Fox News and talk radio downgrade African Americans, Latinos and Senator Barack Obama. I will not allow this network to downgrade any race, sexuality, gender or political views. Take the time to realize there's an opposition. Bring them on! The only thing they know about me is that I am an American. These people are quite cynical of the videos, Senator Barack Obama and those who support me. And yes, I am aware of them. They will rate the video poor. They want to attack me personally with bigotry and stupid comments! They want to threaten me! They will try to box you in with comments about being supportive of Obama. Ignore that! Make sure you are ready with facts. Cause the opposition is going to try to debate you! Don't fall for "gotcha" questions and "ad hominem" attacks. And of course, they can call me every name in the book! They don't know me! I don't support the Black candidate; I support the Democratic candidate, Barack Obama. And as for those PUMAs, Republicans who support race-baiting tactics, conservatives, and those who still don't get it. I will gladly send you the links to debunk, the statements to denounce and clear fact checks to dispel all the ignorance spread here.
