Calling them cheaters and generally acting nasty.</p> <blockquote><p>An organizer at the rally rattled off the addresses of early vote sites nearby that would be open after the event.</p> <p>Photographer Joe Eddins and I headed over to the closest one and found a steady line of voters hoping to cast ballots early. Most seemed to be Obama supporters and several had come from the rally. Nearly all the voters were black.</p> <p>Also at the polling site was a group of loud and angry protesters who shouted and mocked the voters as they walked in. Nearly all were white.</p> <p>As you can see from these videos, no one held anything back. I've pledged to run a respectful campaign and I urged, time after time, various entities in the Republican Party to also do that. I sent them an email again today asking them to pull down that ad . . . I want to be the candidate of everybody. I want to be the candidate of Republicans and Democrats and Independents, people across the political spectrum I think that by traveling America and listening and learning as well as portraying my vision for the future, I'm going to attract a large number of independents and Democrats into our cause. Because right now the cause is America . . ."</p>

<br />MCCAIN: "I've stated my position very clearly that I don't like the ad. I was interested that this morning Senator Obama said that it was a legitimate political issue. If he believes that then it will probably be a political issue. I saw yesterday some additional comments that have been revealed by Pastor Wright, one of them comparing the United States Marine Corps with Roman legionnaires who were responsible for the death of our savior. I mean, being involved in that. It's, it's beyond belief. And then of course saying that al Qaeda and the American flag were the same flags. Um, so I can understand, I can understand that peole are upset about this. I can understand why the, uh, Americans, when viewing these kinds of comments, um, are angry and upset. Just like they veiwed Senator Obama's statements about why people turn to their faith and their values. He believes that it's out of economic concerns when we all know that it's out of fundamental belief, fundamental faith in this country and its values and its principles. Again, Senator Obama, out of touch. I can't control, and will not in the future control. I will voice my opinion, and I will continue to think that to say that I think that ad should not be run. But I won't continue to try to be the referee here." </p>

<p><p>Playing ping-pong with the future of our students in North Carolina continues as now the Community College system has clarified that undocumented students in the system already can remain. The policy has supposedly changed 4 times, but the NC Community College system has still barred future enrollment of any undocumented students. The NC university system continues to be open for undocumented students although it is quite unaffordable for most students who would have to pay out-of-state tuition.</p><p>Just to clarify something the community leader said in this video as an answer to "<u>So, why don't undocumented students apply for citizenship?</u>" The answer is simply not that it is a lengthy and expensive process but also because most undocumented students are simply ineligible for citizenship--there is NO LINE to get into if your parents brought you here illegally. The <a href="http://adreamdeferred.org/">DREAM Act</a> grants students that line.</p></p>

<p><p>The debate over college admissions for undocumented students continues in North Carolina even after clarification from the U.S. Customs and Enforcement that federal law did not prohibit undocumented immigrants from seeking higher education.</p>And yet, today the North Carolina Community College system has decided to bar illegal immigrant students until further clarification: <br /><p> </p><blockquote>"Until we receive further clarification, we will no longer admit individuals classified as illegal or undocumented immigrants into curriculum degree programs."</blockquote><p><strong><u>What further clarification is needed?</u></strong> </p></p>
