Two Canadian men pull a prank on Alaskan Governor Sarah Palin and it's proves to be damaging to the McCain Campaign.

Two men managed to fool the gullible Republican Vice Presidential candidate into believing that she was talking to the president of France, Nicolas Sarkozy.

Since being introduced in Dayton, Ohio, August 29, 2008, Senator John McCain was harshly criticized for not properly vetting Governor Palin. Former G.H.W. Bush Secretary of State Lawrence Eagleburger agreed that Governor Palin wasn't ready. Eagleburger backtracked and said that she is a "quick study".

Governor Palin has face strong criticism for her interviews and campaign rallies. This inspired many woman to impersonate [Lisa Nova and Tina Fey] and some to repudiate [Senator Hillary Clinton and Campbell Brown] the second woman ever to be picked as vice presidential candidate.

Don't get me wrong, she's a down to earth type of person! But her actions reflect on how a McCain presidency will be challenged by the Democratic-controlled Congress and the mainstream media.

Yes, the press coverage of Senator Barack Obama is more positive. The media is interested in the first African American to lead a national party to the general election. Even NewsCorp CEO and average conservative billionaire Rupert Murdoch said it best:

"[Obama] can sell more newspapers!"

Interestingly enough, the DUMB Right made the world more interested in this man who has not only a funny name, but a background that inspired many but turned off some.

Senator John McCain and his campaign have been constantly negative on Senator Barack Obama. That's probably why the media [once considered Senator McCain's "base"] was highly critical of him and Governor Palin.

The proper vetting of Senator Joe Biden proves to be a major asset to the Obama campaign. More media coverage is devoted to the negative reactions of Governor Sarah Palin and Senator John McCain. But if you want to do mudslinging on a candidate, expect the media to give more negative press to your campaign!

Isn't that a simple thought!

Columnist Kathleen Parker, Congressman Ron Paul, Libertarian Presidential candidate Bob Barr and The Southern Avenger are disappointed with the conservative movement.

We are still waiting on former Secretary of State Collin Powell, Senator Chuck Hagel, former congressman J.C. Watts, Jr. and columnist Armstrong Williams to endorse Senator Barack Obama.

Governor Sarah Palin rallies attract this movement. And its quite disturbing! In the many times the vice presidential candidate came to the state of Ohio, there have been reports of threats made to Senator Barack Obama. There are people who openly racist towards the Democratic presidential candidate.

A bunch of bigots! Not Governor Sarah Palin, but her supporters! By the way, she is not a racist or bigot! She doesn't have control over her crowds! That shows a lack of leadership!

Rick Davis, campaign manager of McCain's campaign, has made a gaffe! He stated that this election is not about issues.

Same old strategy! Same old politics! Karl Rove is now at the wheel.

In the latest chapter of the blame card, the Senator John McCain campaign, mainstream media and the far right blogs are after Senator Barack Obama for comments that are tapped as "sexist" to running mate governor Sarah Palin.

While both candidates made stops in my state of Ohio, the comments that made controversy were in Lebanon, Virginia.

The McCain campaign claims that Senator Barack Obama was attacking on Sarah Palin. As soon as video made it to the YouTube universe, The Drudge Report, Fox News, and the far right are buzzing like hornets ready to sting.

The Obama campaign hit back against the accusations claiming that McCain campaign are playing the gender card and drawing phony outrage.

The election has become not only heated! The election has become more of a damn popularity contest! The election is now back in the hands of Karl Rove, political damager.

Democrats usually have the problem with winning, mainly cause of this style of attack.

The candidates from the Democratic Party can talk and talk about serious issues, and to a Republican it's just: "liberal", "tax and spender", "elitist", "out of touch", "radical", "questionable associates", and "not qualified to be president". If Democrats talk like Republicans, all they need is this: "RED MEAT".

[Obama and Biden] practically have this wrapped up, I mean Bush's approval ratings are bad, economy is getting worse, Americans believe our country is on the wrong track, and our reputation with the world is soiled. But still Obama-Biden, can lose. No matter how hard this campaign tries to win voters, the mainstream media is pushing the goal post further and slapping Obama back every chance.

The same old strategy that Senator Hillary Clinton used against Obama, will eventually backfire. Already, progressive bloggers are pushing more damaging comments directly from McCain, and the prosecutors are going into the investigation of the Alaskan governor.

Once again, I rather not worry about people claiming that Obama blew it for not picking Clinton. I rather not worry about people claiming that McCain is winning on this new rejuvenation of Palin. I not worried about Obama and Biden are not fighting hard enough. I mean that they practically have this wrapped, but for every speed bump in the road, but the muffler is coming off. And if this games, that Republican play, I really think Obama needs to stoop to the level of those who practice these tactics.

Across the world, millions of people are watching the American election. Overwhelmingly most countries favor the Obama victory. Even though that doesn't mean much for the general election, if McCain and Palin should win, they will not (and I repeat), not help unite this country. This country will be run by a Republican president with a Democratic congress. Matter of fact the oldest president, and youngest vice president on a ticket that is ran on the "Maverick" platform. Only experience matters when it comes to Republicans, not issues. McCain has no strategy to fix our problems. The media fails to cover it; all they look for is the same old story. This is a popularity contest.

Republicans find the most damaging quotes. They really want to take this election into a mudslinging contest. They are quick to jump on the silliest quotes.

Karl Rove is an "official" strategist to the McCain campaign. With The Drudge Report, Townhall, Newsbusters, RedState, and Fox News, the right has its source for information. They would believe anything if the words were searched in a crossword puzzle.

That's really why I think McCain should pick Mike Huckabee for the very reason I believe is the message of reformer should have been. Huckabee knows how to run a clean campaign.

McCain's cheats on his first wife, cheats the Saddleback Forum, cheats the New York town hall forum on Fox News, went right into picking a woman in order to make Obama look like he ignored Clinton, throws his temper at those who don't agree with him, and is letting his wife, his political strategist, Karl Rove, and the mainstream media [his base], run his campaign. The same old politics:

"I have the best attack ads, vote for me!"
"I am angry because the opponent said something bad about me, I need your vote!"
"I have experience [but I have no freakin' clue how to fix the problems of America], vote for me!"

I guess the attacks from Senator John Kerry's military record will now reflect on how Democratic operatives will go after John McCain! Remember McCain was not going to bring up his POW experience during this election. Remember McCain wanted to keep this a clean election. Remember that John McCain wants us to believe he's a true conservative. The Republican presidential candidates were ridiculing him for being stuck on POW.

Conservatives think that McCain is getting out hand "praising" Hillary Clinton, his thoughts on picking a pro-choice candidate [Tom Ridge, Senator Joe Lieberman, Mitt Romney], and support for immigration reform.

Stuff that makes conservatives think McCain isn't the "one". I mean there were no substantive issues in any of the attacks ads on Senator Barack Obama. But yet, he's getting a slight poll lead against the presumptive Democratic nominee.

I remember back in 1998 when Nickelodeon children's show Doug had an episode about Doug running for school treasurer and Willie White, the mayor's son was resorting to personal attacks to drive supporters to vote for him. While the mayor was using his "attack mode" politics against Doug, Mrs. Dink explained the issues and quietly rose to victory and graciously defeating the mayor of Bluffington.

McCain is an actor; he's pretending to be a conservative. You conservatives watching my videos who rank it poor better wise up. He's playing you like a fool. He's resorting to desperate attacks to drive voters to his campaign. He'll throw anyone or throw anything at Senator Barack Obama just to distract us from the real issues. When you realize that those attacks ads have nothing to do with what really going on in the country, you would vote either for Obama or the lesser candidates of Cynthia McKinney, Bob Barr or Chuck Baldwin.

And why, cause he's does what he promises not to do! Go into attack mode. McCain will betray the trust of Americans. I am hearing that those who are to attending the McCain event in my hometown will not get the opportunity to see history in the making being the city a presidential candidate may announce his vice presidential candidate. McCain is so desperate to thwart Obama's acceptance speech, he will announce his pick right after Obama finishes.

Prove me wrong! I am libertarian on most general issues. Tell me what the "conservative" John McCain can do for me. Other than support President George W. Bush, just to keep his credibility.

Remember he was a member of the "Gang of 14", a group that wanted to make sure that judicial nominees were politically moderate. I mean if you conservatives think moderates are liberal-leaning, of course.

Those who are still focused on past-mongering in order to cheat are truly despicable. This is in regards to using Bill Ayers as an excuse to attack Obama.

McCain, no way, no how! I urge the Clinton supporters and Obama supporters void the smear tactics that the Republican do! They are not going to distract us from the issues.

Canadian law states that they must go to a Canadian source in order to purchase their secondary pieces that go on that part. Well, that doesn't seem fair trade to me then they're not allowed to come to the US and get a better price so that we can have a reduction in the part that I'm buying for my vehicle. What would you do to help us in that area for free trade?
JOHN MCCAIN: "I would take them to the arbitration that is supposed to be part of our free trade agreement -- the North American Free Trade Agreement - where their violations, there's been cases concerning Canadian lumber and there's been other cases. I would take them right to those arbitration panels.
"I think it also maybe in violation to the WTO agreement, but I'm not that much of an expert. But this seems to me clearly in violation of the agreement that we made that we would have free and open markets for all of our products between our two countries.

"I just want to assure you, I believe in free trade. But I don't believe in the abuse of free trade. I don't believe that people should have special advantages over American workers and over American products. And I will exercise those capabilities that I have in order to reach arbitration and reach fairness and justice for American workers and American products.
"And I also want to tell you the next China, the next toy that comes in from China with arsenic on it may poison our young children will be the last toy that came into the United States of America from China."

Comedian Brian Copeland visits Google's Mountain View, CA headquarters to discuss his books "Not a Genuine Black Man: Or, How I Claimed My Piece of Ground in the Lily-White Suburbs." This event took place on June 23, 2008, as part of the Authors@Google series.

Based on the longest-running one-man show in San Francisco history, Not a Genuine Black Man is a hilarious, poignant, and disarming memoir of growing up black in an all-white suburb. In 1972, when Brian Copeland was eight, his family moved from Oakland to San Leandro, California, hoping for a better life. At the time, San Leandro was 99.4 percent white, known nationwide as a racist enclave. This reputation was confirmed almost immediately: Brian got his first look at the inside of a cop car, for being a black kid walking to the park with a baseball bat. Brian grew up to be a successful comedian and radio talk show host, but racism reemerged as an issue -- only in reverse -- when he received an anonymous letter: "As an African American, I am disgusted every time I hear your voice because YOU are not a genuine Black man!" That letter inspired Copeland to revisit his difficult childhood, resulting in a hit one-man show that has now inspired a book.

Brian Copeland (www.briancopeland.com is a comedian whose KGO radio program is the most popular in its time slot. Not a Genuine Black Man is currently in development as an HBO series. Copeland lives in San Leandro, California.
