Eliison also addresses the controversial Don Siegelman case, in which the former Democratic governor of Alabama was yanked out of office to fight corruption charges. A corrupt politician isn't news these days. What is news? The fact that Karl Rove has been accused of cooking up fictional scenarios to politically decapitate Siegelman, and has subsequently ignored subpeonas demanding he answer the charge. Will Rove go to federal prison?

Recruiting Office Closed by Peace Demonstrators

Gainesville, Fl - 2/15/2007: The National Guard recruiting office on NW 13th street closed their doors expecting a swarm of college students and Peace activists would arrive around 4 PM to offer "kissing" as an alternative to "enlisting."

Three Gainesville patrol cars remained on scene to make sure "peace" was maintained.

A very freindly game of spin the bottle made keeping the peace an easy challenge to master within the student ranks.

THe group adjourned at around 6Pm declaring a success for peace - one kiss at a time.
