www.ralphbuckley.com In the midst of unknown certainties of incessant ramblings....I am broadcasting this 2 U from an unknown location inside conkling's obscure & hidden thoughts. You musn't make our correspondence known to the head of the household 'Conkling'....or 2 Mr buckley either 4 that matter...for disclosure might prove to be fatal.... Please let me explain....If my whereabouts were to be 'made known'... well then the rest of us...I mean the rest of us who live here...in 'conkling's consciousness'...well our safety would be at risk. In other words, If we go... He goes...! Let me explain further. Has we all know...the whole is greater then the sum of its parts but...without the sum of its parts...there is no whole. Now with this business taken care of. Let us move on to more pressing matters. ...wait a minute....did U hear that noise..??? Oh holy shit....It's Mr Buckley... "Hello" said Mr Buckley. "Is anyone there"? "shhhh" said former narrator. "Hide....quickly"..."shhh" "PROJECT BLUEBEAM BLUES" "Well now..." said Mr Buckley. "Hello everyone"...it's good 2 C U all here. It's been awhile since I've posted a video. I haven't been feeling well (hearing voices again)... "Project Bluebeam Blues" is just a little bluesy sit down "let your feelings out" type of a 'typical' 'predictable'...'political'...conkling kind of a song..... U know I received a lovely message from a hippy 'enthusiast' the other day....he basically said... "Why are you always writing these stupid freakin' songs...." I'm serious...He was like "What's wrong with U"? (though his rhetoric was decidedly more vulgar) ....well...I don't know what's wrong with me....quite frankly. I just do what I feel... Perhaps if I wrote more agreeable lyrics...I'd become more successful....but...fuck that. I've gotta be able to sleep at night. I already know that my music will never become mainstream. I think once you achieve a certain level of success, well then you're creativity and what you do with it, becomes controlled by the corporations that put their logo on your products. I mean you might think..."hey why don't all these great artists come together and do something. Make a stand about the war & the price of gas. hunger...Darfur. Why aren't we seeing a "live aid" every year. Granted, a few brave souls do speak out. But the majority wouldn't dare to risk their fame & their careers. It's hard for me 2 be in this world...& pretend that I don't see. I mean don't misunderstand me. It's not all about 'doom & gloom'. It has more to do with taking control of our country & are lives. George Carlin knew the score. He knew the deal. I just can't pretend anymore. _____________________________ With the help of Cdbaby I'm offering U a $5.00 gift certificate...that's free tunes....It's happening with the help of their new affiliate "Amie Street" You can use this 5 bucks to download my songs...(but U don't have to download just my songs...they have 1oo's of thousands of songs from other great indie artists) So if you're interested in downloading 5 bucks worth of good music...well then click below...can U dig it... amiestreet.com _____________________________ "Live Performances...streamed live on the internet." I've been doing live performances on "live video".
Mitt Romney
Meet and Greet
Manchester, NH 12/27/07

TRANSCRIPT:
MRS. ROMNEY: "[...] When I was first diagnosed with multiple sclerosis, and that was in 1998, and I became quite ill, I mean, overnight, I became desperately ill. And beyond having loss of my right side, and the numbness, and everything else was this overwhelming fatigue that now ruled my life. And it was at the same time that we got the call to go do the Olympics and to turn that around. And if you think about that, it really made no sense. I mean, I was very sick, our youngest son was a senior in high school, Mitt's business was doing well. And yet, there was no hesitation, we absolutely knew that was the right thing to do. And even for me, as sick as I was, I knew it was the right thing to do. So off we went. And as I was struggling with my health, and a little frightened, and worried about where I would end up. I remember actually even having a good deal of depression, being so overwhelmed, again with the fatigue that was now ruling my life. I remember, Mitt, again giving me encouragement and giving me hope to push through this. Because he would remind me too, he said don't worry, tomorrow will be a better day, I don't care how sick you get, together we can do anything, as long as we're together we can do anything. And that gave me the courage and the hope to push past that. I am so blessed to be here today, and to be strong and well, to be in remission. But there were some pretty hard times that I went through.

London is to play host to the 30th Olympiad come 2012, and it plans to stage the games for about half the $40bn the Chinese spent.

In acknowledging that the Chinese act will be a tough one to follow, the British press is already calling for an event that relies on wit, flair and quirkiness, rather than the grandiose spectacle that was the Beijing Olympics.

Al Jazeera's Carrie Brown reports.

The 29th Olympiad has officially ended in Beijing, putting politics once again at the forefront.

The US says it is disappointed the recently-concluded games did not bring more "openness and tolerance" to China.

But the International Olympic Committee argues that the Beijing Olympics would open the country up to the world.

Al Jazeera's Tony Cheng reports a mixed verdict so far.

Beijing dazzled the world with its clockwork efficiency during the Olympics, and the Chinese capital is still revelling in the glory of hosting a "truly exceptional games" as described by Jacques Rogge, the International Olympic Committee president.

But once the circus leaves town, one question will remain: will life in China ever be the same?

While Olympic organisers have tried hard to put a lot of gloss over the Beijing games, they have failed to shake off criticism over the way protests have been handled.

In the latest incident two elderly women are facing a year in a labour camp after applying to hold a legitimate demo in one of Beijing's Olympic protest parks.

(August 21, 2008) The Summer Beijing Olympics have led to an all out race for golden glory. U.S and Chinese media focus a lot of attention on the battle for the most gold medals. But there are other stories worldwide of good and bad sportsmanship, the power to put politics aside, and of those who may not have won first, but revel in the opportunity just to compete.

Group dancing is a popular form of exercise and provides a social outlet for many elderly in China, and summer is a time many Beijingers bring out their dancing shoes.

While youths hit the city's hot new clubs, droves of retirees and middle-aged office workers turn to mass dancing venues for exercise and companionship.

Al Jazeera met a retiree who shared her one-in-a-billion love for dancing.
