This is hysterical. I mean HYSTERICAL!

Sam Seder and Cenk Uygur's commentary makes it even funnier.

In light of the recent scandal at his university, where Roberts' daughter-in-law has been sending surreptitious text messages to underage males between 1-3 AM on phones she bought them with student tuition money (sometimes she doesn't call them but actually inivites them to live with her), this is even funnier.

This speech would be a classic anyhow. But it is even better in light of just another example of right-wing hypocrisy on sex...

P.S. Just remember. Don't put it in the "ahnus" or the ear. That apparently, is not where it goes.

"Last Blog Standing" starts riiight....now!

Yes, it's time to steal a few more jokes from my father-in-law. For those of you who might be new here, he used to write for Alan King, Milton Berle and Jonathan Winters, just to name a few. And all those Dean Martin Roasts, too: Don Rickles, Red Buttons, Phyllis Diller, Sammy Davis, Jr., etc.

I bet he could even make Larry Craig sound funny. Okay, he already is.

A tiny respite from all the frustrating events of the day:

If there is a writers' strike and you want big TV laughs look in on the comedy network. I'm not talking about "Comedy Central." "C-Span" has been televising Congress for years.
There is no truth to the rumor that because of his son's lavish spending and his involving the televangelist's school in a scandal, they are changing the university's name from "Oral Roberts" to "Anal Roberts."
Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton made a proposal to give each new born baby $5000. Irate Republicans attacked her by saying, "This is preposterous. What babies need are jobs not welfare."
What a fun time. Halloween and Election Day in the same week. And on both of them it's the public that gets tricked - and that's no treat.

Son, wife accused of lavish spending
TULSA, Okla. -- Twenty years ago, televangelist Oral Roberts said he was reading a spy novel when God appeared to him and told him to raise $8 million for Roberts' university, or else he would be ''called home.''
Now, his son, Oral Roberts University President Richard Roberts, says God is speaking again, telling him to deny lurid allegations in a suit that threatens to engulf this 44-year-old Bible Belt college.
Richard Roberts is accused of illegal involvement in a local political campaign and lavish spending at donors' expense, including home remodeling, use of the school jet for his daughter's senior trip to the Bahamas, and a red Mercedes convertible and a Lexus SUV for his wife, Lindsay.
Lindsay Roberts is accused of dropping tens of thousands of dollars on clothes, awarding nonacademic scholarships to friends of her kids and sending text messages on university cell phones to people described as ''underage males.''

Not enough coffee in me yet. I just want to snarl at these pseudo-christians at this point.
