A ballad about American pro-football star, citizen and soldier, Pat Tillman. Like most of us at first, he believed George Bush's lies about 9/11 and WMD. Unfortunately, it was not until he went to Iraq that he investigated and declared that war to be "illegal". He was killed in his second tour of combat, which was in Afghanistan. Then came the Pentagon lies to his family, the media and the public about he died. This was followed by an orchestrated cover up that Tillman's parents and investigative reporters were able to eventually expose.

Liberal Media Tool Chris Matthews Orgasmically Praises Bush for Three Straight Minutes

To those on Faux and elsewhere railing against the “Liberal Media”, I’d like to see some proof of it. For example, why would supposed “off-the-charts liberal” MSNBC’s big star Chris Matthews cream himself for three straight minutes (ThinkProgress has the video) over another one of Bush’s bullshit press conferences where he simply trotted out the same crap about staying in Iraq forever, threatening Iran, defending Libby and Gonzales, attacking Democrats, “we don’t torture”, etc etc? The only real news was that Bush is joining the “I Can’t Recall” Brigade, claiming “I can’t give you the precise moment” when he learned that Pat Tillman was killed by US soldiers. But Matthews found Bush’s press conference “powerful”, claiming:

We were given a rare opportunity to hear the real philosophy of this administration with regard to the war in Iraq. A powerful rendition by the president of why we’re there. When he talked about the fact that we can support emerging democracies in the Middle East, and that’s the only way we can prevent future 9/11’s, you’re getting to the heart of why this administration is fighting that war in Iraq.

Utter bullshit, and you can read the transcript of the press conference to prove it. Matthews went on to say:

I thought in listening to the president, I was listening to one of the great neoconservative minds who’s worked in this administration.

Even though the neocons surrounding Bush like Cheney, Rumsfeld and Wolfowitz have been ass-backward wrong about EVERYTHING, this is still a ridiculous claim. There are no great neo-conservative minds.

A comment from "Michael" on one of my past posts claimed “You don't consider MSNBC as far left as FOX is right? Do you have liberal blinders on?” No, I don’t.

Let me say this as clearly as possible: THERE IS NO LIBERAL MEDIA. If you disagree, prove it.
