Inside Edition's take on WTC7, Popular Mechanics and Rosie O'Donnell seems like the three parts of a stage magician's trick in the movie, "The Prestige". First, there is the setup, or the "pledge," where the magician shows the audience something that appears ordinary but is probably not, making use of misdirection. [This is done by overstating the damage to WT7] Then there is the performance, or the "turn," where the magician makes the ordinary act extraordinary. [The manipulated photograph] Lastly, there is the "prestige," where the effect of the illusion is produced. [Stating that WT7 fell because of fire and debris]
