<p>"At the time of 9/11, we know what we thought the suicide bomber was: a young person sitting on a street corner in Islamabad--no job, no hope, no opportunity--taken off the street and put into a madrass [sic] and brainwashed, et cetera. We didn't think there would be doctors in Glasgow, Scotland - doctors, educated people in Glasgow, Scotland that would become suicide bombers and want to destroy themselves and take the lives of others and destroy the airport."</p>
