Hispanic culture resides on Troy Street (State Route 202) and Valley Street (State Route 201) and it leads into the nearby community of Riverside, Ohio.</p> <p>Rita Avenue is one of many streets in Dayton that is tree-lined. This was the former Miami-Erie Canal. </p> <p>Check the history, Dayton was a connector to the east. The canals that existed over time were filled and thus leaves tree-lined boulevards. Ah, those memories. This road allows travelers to avoid the many traffic lights on Main Street.</p> <p>Upon driving up Riverside, you will see the construction of Interstate 75 around the infamous "Malfunction Junction". </p> <p>Ohio Department of Transportation and the federal government are now involved with trying to eliminate the "switching lanes" that causes accidents and constant delays around Interstate 75.</p> <p>Traveling on Riverside Drive eliminates over five to ten minutes of travel time that I would find on Main Street. </p> <p>Send me some feed back on Riverside Drive.</p> <p>Thanks for viewing and post your comments at the bottom.
