JOHN MCCAIN: I will look for accomplished men and women with a proven record of excellence in the law, and a proven commitment to judicial restraint. I will appoint people in the cast of Justice Roberts, Samuel Alito, my friend the late William Rehnquist, jurists of the highest caliber who know their own minds, and know the law, and know the difference. My nominees will know that there are clear limits to the scope of judicial power and clear limits to the scope of federal power. There will be men and women with experience and wisdom and the humility comes with both. They will do their work with impartiality, honor, and humanity, with an alert conscious, immune to flattery and fashionable theory, and faithful in all things to the Constitution of the United States.

Susan Collins Enabled Blackwater And Other War Profiteers

Yes, that's "moderate" Susan Collins, who lies about self-imposed term limits, wholeheartedly supports Samuel Alito, walks arm in arm with President Bush and, as this video shows, thinks that Blackwater's stealing your taxpayer money so they can kill people and cover it up deserves to be ignored.

But other profiteers shouldn't get jealous of Blackwater. She's formed a protectiion racket for them too.

I greatly admired his leadership in Massachusetts in the way that he responded to the activist court's ruling legalizing same-sex 'marriage.' His leadership on the issue has served as a model to the nation on how to respect all of our citizens while respecting the rule of law at the same time."

The Truth About Susan Collins

Sen. Susan Collins talks like a moderate but votes with George Bush 81% of the time. On the other hand, fantastic legislator and progressive Congressman Tom Allen is smart enough to know George W. Bush is wrong 95% of the time, and votes accordingly (the other 5% of the time, I I'm sure Bush is just lucky).

Collins can pretend she represents Maine interests and is a moderate, but she is a right-wing hack who is the dirtiest of campaigners and loves the Iraq war, Samuel Alito and energy bills that give tax breaks to mulitbillion dollar oil companies while screwing over the middle class and working families.

As the man with the cool Maine accent says, "for a new direction, vote Tom Allen for Senate." If you live in Maine and like Bush's policies, however, then go ahead and vote for "moderate" Susan Collins.
