The New York Times and the Washington Post have recently reported on the "System of Neglect," namely, the state of immigration detention center conditions. As told by her sister June Everett, watch the story of Sandra Kenley, a 52-year-old grandmother, who after living in the U.S. legally for 33 years, was subjected to these very conditions and died in immigration detention.

Welcome to Amerikkka.
What most are unaware of is that leaving and coming back to this country is when they catch you in their evil net, so you must either stay put here, or go there and stay put.
The Patriot Act brought us back to a time of no actual personal freedom or privacy when faced with authorities, who have no apparant legal reprecussions from their actions taken, even death to the incarcerated. There is rampant disregard for life and humanity. It is a disgrace. It is immoral. It is well past time time to throw out these tyrants and enemies of freedom who run our beauracuracies (sp?) who for the most part are now all private sector employees what with outsourcing all services of government and war. We are in a pickle. We need a hero. Obama - is it you?
If nothing else, please let that be the lesson learned from this tragic story.
oon vagrancy and other Jim Crow laws will be selectively enforced again to build up the forced labor camps' populations. And lets just see if they criminalize personal bankruptcy altogether so that if you find yourself in a position where you owe more than you can conceivably pay back, you too could end up stuck there as well.
