<br />MIKE HUCKABEE: I hear people say, Well, didnt he commute a lot of sentences? Well it is about judgment. Ill let you be the judge. Soldier came home from Iraq. He earned the bronze star. Served his country as a National Guardsman from his state. They were called up to do his service and he did it. He worked his way through college before that. Now, hed come home from the military with his bronze star and his combat duty was in the Sunni Triangle. When he got back stateside, this brave soldier, who served our country, fought for our flag, in our uniform, wanted to become a police officer. But there was one problem in his way. When hed been thirteen years old, hed shot one of his friends with a BB gun in the arm. Now, the BB didnt even break the skin. But he did, in fact, shoot the BB gun at his friend at age 13. And it was on his record and as a result he couldnt get into the police academy . . . unless he got a pardon from his state.</p>

<p>While watching coverage of the recent criminal convictions and sentencing in US federal court of Vice President Dick Cheney's Chief of Staff, I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby, I noticed that people on Fox News seem unable to refer to Libby's lying to the FBI, perjuring himself to the grand jury, and generally obstructing justice as crimes, even when that's the obvious word that fits in their statements. In this video, as examples, I provide two clips from Fox News' June 5, 2007, announcement of Scooter Libby's 30 month prison sentence.</p>
