<p>South African authorities are moving hundreds of refugees from makeshift camps to unknown locations.</p>
<p>The migrants were among thousands who fled their homes in the Johannesburg area because of xenophobic violence in May and many are afraid to return to their homes in the city for fear of another wave of attacks.</p>

He is sick and tired of the seemingly unchecked power of criminals to destroy lives and the predominance of violent crime where the perpetrators place no value on human life. He knows he is not alone, as crime has touched every single South African in some way, no matter what colour or social status. This crime comes in all shapes and sizes from car hijacking and spectacular cash-in-transit heists planned with military precision to simple house break-ins, muggings and white collar crime.</p>

<p>The ongoing political situation in Zimbabwe has forced white farmers to leave the country and take advantage of the opportunities available in Nigeria.</p>
<p>The Nigerian government has asked Zimbabwe's farmers to help boost commercial farming in Nigeria.</p>
<p>Zimbabweans are teaching their skills to the local community, because, one farmer argued, he would rather earn foreign currency in Nigeria than starve back home.</p>
<p>Al Jazeera's Haru Mutasa reports.</p>

<p>A landmark case is returning to a New York district court that seeks millions of dollars in reparations from corporations that supported and profited from South African apartheid. The suit is filed on behalf of thousands of apartheid victims under the Alien Tort Claims Act. It seeks damages from the companies for doing business with the apartheid government despite international sanctions and boycotts. The companies include the oil giants BP and ExxonMobil, banks such as Citigroup and UBS, and the car giants General Motors and Ford Motor.
