And don't let the media control your vote.</p> <p>When The Politico and Drudge Report start saying Republican Presidential presumptive nominee Senator John McCain's pick for vice president is more of a "Hail Mary" pass, then you know you're in trouble. Even talk radio pundits are trying their hardest to make Vice Presidential nominee 44-year old Alaskan Republican governor Sarah Palin look better qualified than Presidential candidate 47-year old Illinois Democratic Senator Barack Obama. </p> <p>So wait a minute, you are saying a Harvard-educated, law professor, who became a community organizer for the poor, who was a former state senator, and went from city to city in his bid to become a United States Senator, inexperienced? A man, who had more contributions made to his campaign than his main rival in the primaries, fought the smear campaigns launched by conservative critics, and getting global praise from all sectors of the world, inexperienced!</p> <p>When Republicans and conservatives are jealous of the success of Senator Barack Obama, they go after the supporters. Call us everything they can think of. Or listen to the talk radios blabber mouths. This pick in Palin makes a desperate attempt for conservatives to pull the Clinton-Lieberman Democrats to the McCain campaign. </p> <p>The McCain campaign has been very sloppy when it comes to campaigning. Talk radio thinks that all the "Celeb" ads are effective, when clearly there are no substantive issues worth addressing in the ad. They actually think the "Wright", "Ayers" and "Proud" attacks are effective. The P.U.M.A.s claims that Obama stole the nomination from Senator Hillary Clinton. They failed to realize that the Clinton campaign, with all the attempts to paint Obama as "out of touch", "inexperienced", and his "questionable associates" it clearly backfired against her campaign. Of course, the shady ties and blunders from Terry McAuliffe, Mark Penn, Geraldine Ferraro, Howard Wolfson, and even Bill Clinton had exposed a weakness in the Clinton campaign. Facts are facts. Michigan and Florida were not to be in play, the Democratic National Conference were gracious to the Clintons to say at least. <br /> <br />Let's go to the 2004 strategy. Keyes attacks him over non-substantive issues, he lost. He was railing on Clinton for being a carpetbagger when he turned out to pander the same.</p> <p>In 2008, Obama won Iowa with a 15% hold against John Edwards 10% and Hillary came third with 7%. Obama campaigned hard and fought all the ney sayers. Now the McCain campaign is recycling right out of the Clinton campaign.</p> <p>This is quite unique. Senator John McCain has taken the same mantra that helped Alan Keyes lose the Illinois United States Senate race, Hillary Clinton to lose the Democratic Primaries, and Fox News to lose credibility in reporting the candidates. </p> <p>Now I caution Obama supporters not to go too hard on Sarah Palin. She is a mom.</p> <p>Since the announcement of Sarah Palin, many either praised the decision or shunned it as a desperation move to appease de facto Clinton supporters. Some already made comparisons to comedian/actress Tina Fey, either calling her out on experience, her investigation to abuse of powers, and from calling her "babe". Some have already made her the butt of ridicule for her family being not involved in the Republican Party, her praise for Obama's policies, her support for Ron Paul, and just for P.U.M.A., Palin stated that the tactics that Senator Hillary Clinton used to win New Hampshire are just "whiney".</p> <p>Could this be Walter Mondale and Geraldine Ferraro 2008? That's in response to that silly Ferraro making still more "ignorant" comments about Blacks and Latinos. God, you wonder why the Clinton campaign needs a bitter woman like that. <br /> <br />Um, I think we have a problem. We'll see in the polls. </p> <p>To my critics: You like to attack on me for being outspoken. I want you to get all that anger and despise of your chest. I want you to lay all your anger and criticism down on the comments page. I can't debate with you, so I just rather ignore you. Rate it poor. As always take a stand against corporate owned media and turn that television, radio and internet smear machine off.</p> <p>Even though potential first lady Michelle Obama delivered an amazing speech, her husband's impromptu performance gaffe will now bring ridicule in the right wing circles.</p> <p>Even though his daughters bailed him out of the mistake, Senator Barack Obama must still work over the Clinton supporters who are flocking to his rival Senator John McCain.</p> <p>Senator Hillary Clinton urges unity among the Democrats. </p> <p>McCain wants to use Obama's former rival's words against him. This week McCain released six ads hitting Obama over the experience issue. While McCain may have an advantage of using the conservative talking points, he still hasn't put forth a plan for three major issues. The economy, the war, and high oil prices! Of course, we haven't gotten nothing more than the Newt Gingrich motto: "Drill Here - Drill Now: Save Less" mantra.</p> <p>Find your own way, McCain! Now back to the issues of gaffes. McCain couldn't remember how many homes he owns. Major blunder when talking about Obama being an elitist! Senator Joe Biden says Barack America. Who owns America? We the people!</p> <p>Anyways, we're human; I won't ridicule them for making errors in speaking. They spend thousands of hours talking and once in a while McCain and Obama will make mistakes.</p> <p>Only if you would know that making mistakes are a part of a campaign. Presidential campaigning is stressful, time consuming and advocates political sliming from both sides.</p> <p>So I guess we'll see if the vice presidential pick will be Mitt Romney. If he should choose Mitt Romney, it will be panned by the progressive bloggers and media pundits. After all McCain was called "liberal" multiple times by Romney and Mike Huckabee.</p> <p>While the DNC was having a big party: The competition is making a Denver appearance. <br /> <br />1) Green Party- Cynthia McKinney is in town. <br />2) Libertarian Party- Bob Barr is in town. <br />3) Alex Jones and the 9/11 Truth confronts conservative pundit Michelle Malkin. <br />4) Griff Jenkins (geek reporter), Bill O'Reilly and Fox News are getting the F-bomb salute. <br />5) Debra Bartoshevich and Republicans are setting up shop to attract Clinton supporters. <br />6) Recreate68 and Ward Churchill are protesting against the War in Iraq and Afghanistan. <br />7) Conservative pundits are at the Pepsi Center. I am surprised that Democrats are so gracious to a group of hateful morons.</p> <p>Another note: The 3AM ad! Bad move Senator John McCain! His campaign is becoming more increasingly desperate. Almost every campaign ad used against Senator Barack Obama had no relevance toward major issues. Talk about a Clinton obsession, I thought "real" conservatives hate Bill and Hillary! McCain are you now becoming a "liberal"? Because if you keep pushing for Clinton supporters, then you may alienate conservatives. And they are none to happy about your thoughts on choosing a pro-choice vice presidential candidate.</p> </div> <a PETERSBURG - A Muslim civil rights organization is calling on Pinellas County school officials to investigate a threat it says was made against a sixth-grade Muslim girl at Azalea Middle School.</p> <p>The 11-year-old girl, Hannah, told reporters she's afraid to go to back to school after a boy pulled off her head scarf and the next day threatened to shoot and kill her.</p> <p>"I feel so afraid," she said. "I should just switch schools."</p> <p>The Council on American-Islamic Relations held a news conference this afternoon outside the school at 22nd Avenue North and 79th Street North with the girl and her parents, all of whom would give only their first names, citing security concerns.
