<p>As a former <a href="../blog/26117-the-war-on-greed-or-why-i-support-john-edwards">Edward's supporter</a>, I wasn't planning to vote in the primary since I could not get excited over a <a href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjXyqcx-mYY">‘yes we can'</a> or <a href="http://www.hillaryclinton.com/video/117.aspx">‘experience'</a> ticket. On Feb 5<sup>th</sup>, I decided at the last second to fly in from FL and vote in the NY primary. Since my mom wanted to vote for Hillary, I did the same so that I would not nullify her vote-I can hear the howls of disappointment from voices who tell me that Hillary is a corporatist, voted for the Iraqi war/occupation & continued funding of said occupation, etc., but ultimately I'll be reasonably content with either candidate as long as we get the <a href="http://www.dailykos.com/story/2008/2/5/75458/26989">Republicans out of power</a>.</p>

<p>His autocratic style brought economic growth, but against a background of corruption and human rights abuses.</p>
<p>Now, following multiple organ failure, doctors have put the 86-year-old's chances of survival at 50 per cent, and told his family to prepare for the worst.</p>
<p>As a result, many Indonesians have begun to reassess his time in power.</p>
