I don't know how he got in? The place was literally crawling with supporters, and I don't just mean his knuckle-scraping supporters! Oh wait, I do. All four of them in New Hampshire ("debilitatingly large" crowds one could say).

As usual, Sam was hysterical...

BTW Much like I didn't plan to make the other day "Fox Day," there was no plan to make this "Rudy Day," but so much great stuff has been sent my way...

Our friend Phillip Anderson, of the great New York blog The Albany Project, did the filming as our petitions were delivered to the Chair of The Committee on Oversight and Investigations, Eric Gioia.

As Phillip put it:

For all of you anxiously sitting on the edge of your sofas, we have surpassed 200,000 views in a little over 5 days (and two of them were slow-traffic weekend days).

We have been written about not only in the AP and Yahoo! News, but covered by The San Francisco Chronicle, CBS and The Wall Street Journal. That's right, that publication that will be owned by some guy named Murdoch soon (I wish I could have been there when his minions gave him that clip).

Thank you all so much for helping get the word out about this campaign! It is so important that people know that Rudy Giuliani is quite the opposite of the hero the media and GOP have snookered much of the public into believing he is.

It must hurt deep down in the gut--where Republicans make all of their decisions, mind you--that our video detailing Rudy G's exploitation of 9/11 is knocking on the door of 200,000 views in FOUR DAYS (191,000+ as this is being written), while Rudy's website suckered in only 124,000 viewers THE WHOLE MONTH OF JULY.

Could this be why they are falsely calling us "conspiracy theorists," when we have never once advocated that position re 9/11, but simply stated the the obvious fact that Rudy Giuliani put his command center in the place MOST LIKELY TO BE ATTACKED because it suited him more personally?

And if you don't believe us, watch our video, as Giuliani claims his Director Of Emergency Management (1996-2000) Jerry Hauer recommended that location, which both Hauer himself and a written directive he gave Giuliani prove is simply a bald-faced lie by "America's Mayor."

Then, unbelievably, he charges BNF with "cashing in" on 9/11, when Rudy has made SIXTY MILLION DOLLARS off the deaths of 3,000 Americans, while we distributed a video for FREE.

Nice try Rudy, but save your lies for the GOP debates, where people may actually believe them.

My brother is one of the "real" 9/11 heroes, he unselfishly volunteered for search and rescue that day. I remember coming home after the attacks to find him in his SWAT gear and him telling us he was going into the city (he is a small town cop from NJ but started his career in NY). Little did we know thatthose words would be the last breath he took as a "healthy non-smoking man", he now suffers from a rare blood cancer and other respiratory ailments (but he continues patrolling and keeping our town safe). Rudy Guliani, Christy Todd Whitman and their republican cronies mislead all people in the area by reporting that the air was safe to breathe. Just look at any media clips and you will see Rudy covering his face with a mask and Whitman never took a breath over at the site until well after the debris was settled. Rudy was just one of many "show-boaters" that day and all the days that follow. He should have stayed at home and worked on the mess that was his marriage.

Note From Cliff: I think this kind of confirms eveything the firefighters, Ground Zero workers, Rudy's former employees and we at BNF are saying about this coward who dresses himself up as a hero (when not in drag, of course). First I have highlighted a key passage, but I reccommend you continue and read the whole thing. It will explain why BNF has launched this campaign:

I didn't speak to Rudy Giuliani because I never saw him there. Every time he uses the terrible events of September 11th for political gain (never mind the finical gain he has all ready garnered, he insults not only the memory of those lost on that awful day, but the intelligence of those who were actually there for other reasons than a photo op.

I was at the WTC sight for nine months as volunteer for a minimum of 40 hours a week. It was an honor to be allowed to do so, and though I met the thousands of people I met and the hundreds of those I now consider family, I never met then Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

I heard gossip that I had missed seeing Rudy serving turkey on Thanksgiving to the workers with photographers in tow. It must of been a short shift, like half an hour.

The only time I witnessed him with my own eyes was at Ground Zero the Towers of Light ceremony (which as low ranking volunteers were only allowed to attend at the last minute due to the kindness of a Port Authority cop, who was outraged at our exclusion and got us in and the last minute...

Oh wait, I did see him again, at the cutting of the last beam ceremony that took place the night before the sight prematurely closed. Again we were brought in at the last minute, this time due to the kindness of an FDNY Battalion Chief. After all Rudy was there (not in the pit mind you) and there was his safety to think about. Funny that, cause there seemed to be no great concern about the safety of the people, many who are now getting sick who were down there day after day (unlike Rudy)

Oh, Im sorry. We were supplied dust masks, and hard hats the first day in, so if there was a saw dust attack we would be just fine.

I'll tell you who I did see, fellow New Yorkers side by side, of all political persuasion, race, religion, creed, age, gender, and sexual orientation, turning up day after day, bound together by the tragic events of 9/11. Some came to find their loved ones remains, and if they were one of the few who did find a son, a brother, a father, a daughter, a coworker and stayed on in hope to give some other grieving relative or friend a bit of comfort, a body to bury. Some came to find a bit redemption in a world that suddenly seemed hopeless ugly and mean.

We have just released our newest short film showing how Giuliani chose the World Trade Center as the site for his counter-terrorist command center against the advice of EVERYBODY.

He needed campaign contributions. And a place for the media to gather. And a place within walking distance.

You know, the important reasons to pick a site rather than where would be safest from attack (he, of course, chose the one site that had already been hit by terrorists, who vowed to come back to that very site and finish the job).

Here his how negligent homicide is defined:

Negligent homicide is a charge brought against persons, who by inaction, allow others under their care to die.

Could this not be applied to Giuliani's behavior?

He, of course, shamelessly made millions by exploiting his faux-successes that day. Don't let him become President the same way.

Here is a guide to Rudy Giuliani: The one that New Yorkers know and the media had picked up upon, when he hit the low 30s in approval in New York pre-9/11.

After 9/11, they needed to saint someone, and Bush was hiding somewhere reading My Pet Goat. So while Rudy enriched himself off of his visibility, because like a stubborn idiot against all recommendations, he put the Command Center in the only place in New York previously hit by terrorists--The World Trade Center--the media made him a star.

He is a scumbag, and has always been one. And we are about to remind everyone in a serious way.

On Giuliani and 9/11 Failure

Why is it that Giuliani gets a pass from the press when it comes to foriegn affairs experience. He was only a mayor. It is coming out that he made many mistakes the weeks following 9/11. It was Mayor Bloomberg who did all of the rebuilding work in NY. Obama is called on the carpet for a lack of experience. If you read both of their policy papers dealing with foriegn affairs you would see Obama is knowledgeable, intelligent and can be a real uniter - none of those words fit Giuliani.

We couldn't agree more with you Rich! That is why, coming soon to a Youtube near you--or better yet its own Brave New Films site--will be the real story of Rudy Giuliani, the foreign policy fraud.
