Rosenberg has worked in national politics and the media world for more than 20 years. He started his career in network television as a
writer and producer at ABC News for five years before working on the Dukakis and Clinton presidential campaigns. On the Clinton campaign, he was a member of the famous 1992 Clinton War Room.

After the campaign, Simon worked at the Democratic National Committee and the Democratic Leadership Council and then started what is now NDN in 1996.

During his time at the helm of NDN and its predecessor organization the New Democrat Network, Simon has helped elect more than 50 new members to the Senate and House of Representatives and has been an influential champion of a new and more modern agenda for the nation, an innovator in helping progressives reach out to and communicate with Hispanic voters, and a leader in creating a 21st century progressive movement.

McCain Heckled By Anti-War Protesters

McCain gave a speech at the National Association of Latino Elected and Appointed Officials' 25th annual conference today, in an effort to court a key, swing-voting constituency. McCain's speech, however, was interrupted at least three times by protesters. One protester was particularly vocal, holding up a large pink sign that says 'McCain equals' war in Spanish, and shouting "your silence is consent to war crimes" as they escorted her out of the hall. Another protester interrupted the end of McCain's remarks, and the Senator can be seen holding up his hands in exasperation.

Morris P. Fiorina is a senior fellow at the Hoover Institution and the Wendt Family Professor of Political Science at Stanford University. Formerly he was the Frank Thompson Professor of Government at Harvard University, where he taught from 1982-1998. From 1972-1982 he taught at the California Institute of Technology.
Professor Fiorina's research focuses on legislative and electoral processes with particular emphasis on the ways in which political institutions and procedures facilitate or distort the representation of citizen preferences.

He has just published Culture War: The Myth of a Polarized America with Samuel J. Abrams and Jeremy C. Pope (Pearson Longman, 2004).
