<p><a href="http://www.ralphbuckley.com">www.ralphbuckley.com</a> Would you agree that facing your fears is the answer to overcoming them? Perhaps yes...but what is the 'sum of all fears? What is your worst fear? Do you know? There are many fears that we all collectively share...but ceasing to exist would have to pretty high up there on the list. Can u dig it man, I mean of all the horrible shit that can happen to you in this crazy world, (I know that I'm putting myself out on a limb here) but dying and/or 'death', "the Grim Reaper" would have to be number 1 "uno" on the list. Yep...but lets not forget about those other characters who like to dress in black, "the church. Over the centuries, they've attempted to try to 'raise the stakes', by intentionally trying to make you fear what happens to you after you've shuffled off your mortal coil. You see they are in the business of cashing in on you're sins...and of course the guilt of your sins. They have spent a considerable amount of time and money trying to convince you that there is yet a worse fate then death. That's right, you've guessed it. 'The eternal damnation of your immortal soul (wow that's heavy). The Vatican has been hiding the 'sacred knowledge' of our origins and the secrets of our past for thousands of years. Most of these ancient writings were supposedly destroyed with the burning of the legendary library in Alexandria...long long ago. (c'mon, these books weren't burned or destroyed...they are being studied by the most intelligent minds that can be found, so that the Vatican can have access and understand the knowledge of what many believe is our extra terrestrial or alien connection and ancestry.) Miraculously, over this past century, many of these ancient writings have been rediscovered. Information thought to be lost forever has magically reappeared. Of course these books have been hidden and censored from the mainstream. But eventually they have made their way through to us and have entered into our 'collective consciousness'. The 'powers that be' have fought with everything they could muster to prevent these books and the information contained therein from getting out. But, despite their efforts...this information will not be held back. It feels like there might be unseen forces at work here...call it what U will. But even the seemingly unstoppable plans of the 'elite' can be waylaid by forces of light that are beyond there power here on the physical plain. These books include the 'Lost Gospels' and the "Dead Sea Scrolls" & the Hindu 'Veda's'. The single most, important piece of information that these ancient texts tell us is this: That the "Kingdom of Heaven" exists 'within' each and every one of us. Not such a big deal when you think about it.... But if you think about this from the point of view of the papacy, then it becomes crystal clear. From the inception of the Church...they have ruled the masses with an 'iron fist'! They claim that they and they alone are the messengers & the spokesmen of the messiah until such a time comes when he shall return. This idea that the common man can have access to 'God' and the "Holy Spirit", The 'Holiest of Holies', without the aid of the overseeing eye of the church, is not something that works side by side with their ideas of "ultimate authority". Now with the new 'computer age' this knowledge is available to anyone and with minimal effort. This is truly an amazing time to be alive. Our ancestors have been victimized by the church for over 2000 years. Now with all of the new technological breakthroughs and discoveries, the church and the money & power under their control have become 'at risk'. There so called claim, to be the spokesman for God is now in question. In their eyes, there can be no doubt has to their 'place of authority'. In the past, anyone who did not concur with the beliefs set forth were dealt with accordingly. A thorough investigation into the history of the church and even of the bible itself has begun to unravel even more unanswered questions. ...You can bet that all of this has a definite effect upon the global-political unrest in the world has well. Specifically referring to the Middle East'. If one starts to question the validity of such inaccurate histories & events in the bible, then one has to start to question the logic of these wars in the name of religion. The status quo is changing. If you get your information from CNN and the corporate news then I can understand your coming to the conclusion that I am delusional. But the paradigm is changing...Despite it all.</p>

<p>Jeremy Hinzman, a deserter from the United States Army, was ordered Wednesday to leave Canada by Sept. 23. Mr. Hinzman, a member of the 82nd Airborne Division, left the Army for Canada in January 2004 and later became the first deserter to formally seek refuge there from the war in Iraq. He has been unable to obtain permanent immigrant status, and in November, the Supreme Court of Canada declined to hear an appeal of his case.</p>

<br />QUESTIONER: My son is currently in Iraq, so the war is very important to me. And there are a lot of people who say there where never any weapons of mass destruction, and we shouldn't have been there, what would you say to them? And also, do you agree with the assessment situation with Mike McCollin and John Petreus?</p>
<p>MCCAIN: Thank you. I think I addressed, a little bit, this issue of weapons of mass destruction. Every intelligence agency in the world said- believed- that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction, so there couldn't have been that kind of massive conspiracy. You couldn't have gotten the CIA and others to come to that assessment. In addition, Saddam Hussein has said, categorically, that he was intent on acquiring those weapons, he had used them twice before, and there's no doubt of his intent to do it again. Also, there was abuse of human rights, threats to the neighbors, etc. Um, I want to thank you for your son's service. And, I do agree with the assessment of General Patreus and McMullin. I do agree that we have succeeded. But I also want to emphasize, that that success that we've achieved is very fragile, it could be reversed very easily. Al Queda is on their heels, they are not defeated. I also predict that they will make an attempt, as we get into the election season, to make more of these spectacular kinds of attacks to which they are still capable of doing. The suicide bombers, etc., would not surprise me- we've already found out that they are going to try to step up their attacks and do things in a more spectacular fashion so that they can erode the support of the Malachi government. And by the way, the Malaki government and the United States government will work together on an agreement as to the withdrawal of the U.S. troops. We will withdraw, we will come home with honor and victory, and it will be dictated by the events on the ground. I've recently had talks with the president of Iraq, and also the foreign minister. We're in agreement. And by the way, the same people that are tellin ya a lot of these things about lack of success and that the Malachi government isn't working, which it is, their the same ones that said the surge would fail. Keep that in mind the next time you hear from one of em. So, um, we have succeeded, and I am confident that we will win victory, and that is all contingent on our commitment to making sure we withdraw according to conditions on the ground and largely in keeping with the recommendations of General Petreus and our military leaders. The final decision, of course, always rests with the commander and chief. And I've had the experience in many wars, both personally and involved in national security aspects to know and have the judgment to lead this country and keep young Americans safe. And I want to point out to you again, I hate war. I hate war. No one hates war more than the veteran. Cause the veteran knows what it's like to lose a comrad. So you can be absolutely sure that I will keep this nation at peace. And as Ronald Reagan said, peace through strength.</p>

<p>Spinning the Bloodshed in Basra

<p>As fighting rages in Basra, the White House is unleashing a forceful spin campaign to frame the Iraqi government's offensive there as a positive outcome of the U.S. troop surge and a symbol of better days to come.</p>
<p>Speaking to an invitation-only audience at an Air Force base in Dayton, Ohio, this morning, President Bush argued that the Basra incursion "shows the progress the Iraqi security forces have made during the surge" and "demonstrates to the Iraqi people that their government is committed to protecting them. . . .</p>
<p>"The enemy, you know, will try to fill the TV screens with violence," he scoffed. "But the ultimate result will be this: Terrorists and extremists in Iraq will know they have no place in a free and democratic society."</p>
<p>But is the bloodshed in Basra an example of a unified central government asserting itself and the Iraqi army standing up? Or is it further evidence of the internecine strife ravaging the country? Will Basra become a symbol of the restoration of the rule of law? Or will it turn out to be a step toward heightened violence?</p>
<p>There is plenty of reason to doubt the White House spin.</p>

<p>The general who directed the "surge" campaign in Iraq has been promoted to head America's two long-running wars and a possible future conflict with Iran.</p>
<p>Saddam Hussein's ally 'captured' in Iraq
<br />Gen David Petraeus, the current US commander in Baghdad, is to lead Central Command (Centcom), after winning praise for engineering a reversal of fortune in Iraq.</p>
<p>Announcing the promotion, Robert Gates, the defence secretary, said that Gen Petraeus "has clearly been successful in his current assignment. I recommended him to the president because I am absolutely confident he is the best man for the job".</p>
<p>In a statement, Gen Petraeus said he was "honoured" by the appointment.</p>
<p>Mr Gates announced that Lt Gen Raymond Odierno, who served as deputy commander in Baghdad until February, would take command in Iraq.</p>
<p>With 30,000 extra combat troops despatched as a "surge" force, Gen Petraeus, a paratrooper in the 101st Airborne Division, was able to vastly expand the American presence on Iraq's streets.</p>

<p>IAEA 'alarmed' by Iran's alleged nuclear weapons work: diplomat

<p>VIENNA (AFP) — Inspectors from the UN atomic watchdog are "alarmed" that Iran has in its possession a document describing the process for making what could be the core of a nuclear weapon, a western diplomat said Thursday.</p>
<p>And at a closed-door meeting with diplomats, the International Atomic Energy Agency's chief for inspections, Olli Heinonen, revealed that the agency had gathered intelligence from around 10 countries suggesting Iran was engaged in weaponisation studies in the past, the diplomat said.</p>
<p>Tehran has repeatedly dismissed the intelligence as "fabricated," and the allegations that it was seeking to build a bomb as "baseless".</p>
<p>At a briefing to prepare IAEA board members for a meeting of the full board next week, Heinonen talked about the so-called uranium metal document, the diplomat said on condition of anonymity.</p>
<p>The 15-page document describes the process of machining uranium metal into two hemispheres of the kind used in nuclear warheads.</p>
